Say you were African American and you happened to be in New Mexico, and you had some reason to hide inside the Carlsbad Caverns (especially in the early 20th century or even earlier), this (pictured above) is NOT what you'd like to come face to face with! It's a giant rock formation that looks like a Klansman, consequently it is actually officially called the Klansman! WTF. How messed up is that? As if the KKK aren't bad enough -we have to have geological features that look like 'em! Anyhow, aside from that tidbit, the Carlsbad Caverns are a National Park worth seeing.
