From The Vaults: Rainbow Eyes (originally posted September 2011)

 What color are your eyes? Green? Blue? Brown? If you see enough extreme close up shots of the human eye, you begin to realize that each eye is quite unique and tends to be a composite of many colors. It is only from a distance that one prominent color is noticed. Check out the interesting shots at the link below:

COLORFUL CHICKS

No, no. I don't mean like this:

I mean like baby chicken- type chicks. Observe:

It's not Photoshopped. People actually inject colored dyes into eggs when the chicks are still in embryonic stage. When they hatch, voila, they are colorful! A lot of folks think it's cool or cute, though I wonder if it may be messing with nature too much. I think there might be a slight chance that the chicks will have compromised health when tampered with in this way. Yet I don't think there is 100% proof of that. It's an interesting thing all in all.
